Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Technical Information Security Officer to bridge governance and engineering in cloud and platform security. You will work with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to embed security into design, implementation, and operations while enabling innovation in hybrid-capable environments.

You will advise on risk-based decisions, drive secure-by-design reviews, and ensure secure authentication, API design, monitoring, and logging across the tech stack.

Qualifications

• Experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, or a related field with strong cloud security expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security controls, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern IAM solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and secure cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

What will you do as a Technical Information Security Officer?

As a Technical Information Security Officer, you will bridge the gap between security governance and engineering. You will work closely with architects, engineers, platform teams, and project stakeholders to ensure security is embedded into the design, implementation, and operation of technology solutions.

You will act as a trusted security advisor, helping teams make pragmatic and risk-based decisions while enabling innovation in cloud and platform environments.

In this role, you will:

• Drive security-by-design reviews and technical architecture assessments across cloud, platform, and application environments.
• Support Azure platform security, identity management, and network security initiatives.
• Advise stakeholders on Zero Trust strategies and security maturity improvements.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and project teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review authentication, authorisation, API security, monitoring, and logging designs to ensure secure and scalable solutions.

Your Profile

You have:

• Experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, or a related field, with strong expertise in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security controls, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern identity and access management solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, Zscaler or similar SSE/SASE platforms, and secure cloud-native environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-300, or equivalent.
• An understanding of AI-related security risks and opportunities, and the ability to apply security principles to emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions.
