Capgemini Engineering seeks a Senior/ Specialist CI/CD Specialist for the EMS Platform Team in Arnhem. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for OT systems, ensuring stability, security, and compliance while supporting 24/7 on-call duties after training.

The role requires expertise in CI/CD tools, OT protocols, and security standards, with collaboration across DevOps, IT/OT, and business stakeholders to optimize workflows.

In the complex and mission-critical world of transmission system operations, our EMS Platform Team plays a vital role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the Operational Technology (OT) digital backbone that supports the energy grid. We build and maintain the platforms that enable seamless operations across control systems, automation, and data flows — driving innovation while safeguarding reliability.

As a CI/CD Specialist for the EMS Platform Team at Capgemini Engineering, you will combine CI/CD automation expertise with platform operations and monitoring. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines tailored to OT systems, while ensuring the platform remains stable, secure, and compliant through proactive operational support. After a period of extensive training and learning on the job, you will (or be willing to learn to):

• Monitor OT platforms, respond to alerts, and perform routine maintenance to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, IT/OT teams, and business stakeholders to integrate CI/CD processes into workflows.
• Automate testing and deployment to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Investigate and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines and platform operations promptly.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines specifically for OT systems.
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call duty schedule (after training) to support the continuity and reliability of the OT platform.

Your profile

You have:

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI), with a focus on OT environments.
• Familiarity with OT systems and protocols (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS).
• Understanding of cybersecurity requirements and standards implementation in the OT domain.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks for testing and deployment in OT settings.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail to ensure reliability and security.
• Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies, and a learning-oriented approach that turns setbacks into improvement.
• A collaborative, socially engaged working style — you listen, share knowledge, and help others succeed.
• NL or EU residency of more than 5 or 8 years, and the ability to pass AIVD screening (mandatory for this role).

What We Offer

• A gross salary of € 4.900,- to € 6.500,- euro per month, plus a mobility allowance of at least € 850,- and 8% holiday allowance (based on a 40‑hour workweek).
