Overview

Technical Finance Data Analyst

EPSN Workforce for our new Client based in the Netherlands is looking for Tech Finance Data Analyst for full time position.

The client is responsible for forecasting, accounting, reporting, tax and investor relations for Dutch start- and scale-ups. To facilitate the wide range of financial data needed for these purposes, we have a centralised data pipeline, warehouse and dashboarding suite. To manage this process efficiently and support our clients in providing additional insights, we are looking for a Finance Data Manager to join the team.

The ideal candidate is someone who is able to translate needs of non-technical stakeholders into technical data requirements and implementations. They ideally have experience working with financial data.

What You’ll Do

• Taking full ownership of the standardised central data pipeline, warehouse and dashboarding suite with all of its sub processes.
• Gathering custom dashboarding requirements from clients, identifying the availability of the data in each stage of the pipeline and making it available in dashboards.
• Being the central contact person for anything data related, internally as well as towards our clients.

Who You Are

• Academically trained in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Statistics, Computer Science or another technical major;
• Have recent relevant experience within data management processes
• Experience with financial data is a pre
• Have proven ability to communicate complex requirements to diverse stakeholders at multiple levels
• You are self-motivated, take ownership, dedicated, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and a positive outlook
• You are comfortable with not having all the answers and not afraid to make mistakes
• You are a great connector and able to engage people for complex matters

Technical Requirements

• Ability to build database queries in SQL
• Understanding of Python
• Understanding of Cloud environments such as GCP, BigQuery
• Ability to build beautiful visualisations in BI Tools such as Data Studio
• Being good with various IT tools such as Google Sheets
• Good Dutch & English language proficiency
• Strong communication skills
• Good time & task management skills

Location, Relocation and Benefits

The person needs to be able to work in The Netherlands without Visa. For this role they need to relocate to The Netherlands. The salary they’re looking to pay is 4000 eur to 5000 eur/GROSS/month. There will be a paid 13th month, 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
