Job summary

Baer Sandwich Panels B.V. in Waalwijk seeks a technically minded Technical Draughtsman to bridge engineering, work preparation and production. You will create 2D drawings, prepare BOMs and CNC programs, and incorporate design changes to keep processes efficient.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, work preparation and production daily, with a standard Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule. A direct contract with the client is possible after initial placement via Adecco.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO level of education preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software required.
• Practical, technical and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Active contribution of ideas to improve production/work preparation.
• Strong communication with colleagues at different levels in the organization.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D production drawings from customer drawings and specs.
• Prepare bills of materials for production and purchasing.
• Create and optimize CNC programs.
• Incorporate design changes into drawings, BOMs and programs.
• Check drawings for feasibility and completeness.

Job description

Are you technically minded and energized by varied projects? Would you like to see your drawings brought to life directly on the shop floor? And are you looking for a role where you can fully develop your skills? In this position in Waalwijk, you will be the connecting link between engineering, work preparation and production. From military containers to luxury horse trailers, your technical knowledge will make a real difference here.

What are you going to do?

As a Technical Draughtsman, you will act partly as a work planner, ensuring that production knows exactly what needs to be manufactured. You will create 2D production drawings based on customer drawings and specifications. You will prepare bills of materials for production and purchasing. You will create and optimize CNC programs. You will incorporate design changes into drawings, bills of materials and programs. You will check whether your drawings are technically feasible and complete. You will contribute ideas regarding potential bottlenecks and improvements to the workflow.

You will work closely with engineering, work preparation and production.

Your working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00. You will initially start through Adecco, with the prospect of receiving a contract directly with the client.
