Job summary

Talanto in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Tech Lead – AI Backend to guide the backend and platform for an AI cloud built on Kubernetes and GPU infrastructure. You will design scalable microservices, APIs, and orchestration, and lead engineers to shape architecture with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

The role requires being based in the Netherlands, with travel to Leiden office. Visa sponsorship is available for candidates already based in NL.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend engineering experience in production systems.
• Senior/Lead level experience with large-scale microservices.
• Strong Go experience and production-grade API design.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads, Kubernetes and cloud-native stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable backend systems, APIs and orchestration for AI workloads.
• Lead architectural decisions and guide engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and improve reliability, observability and testing.
