Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Teamleader Stores & Receiving to lead three Area Coaches and optimize daily resource planning while ensuring efficient use of material handlers.

Qualifications

• HBO education in Logistics, (Technical) Business Administration, WTB or Automotive.
• Several years of leadership experience in an operational environment.
• Extensive knowledge of logistics and production.
• Experience with improvement and change projects in an operational setting.
• Familiar with logistics systems such as MRP, SAP, NPC or similar.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Strong Dutch and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical ability and hands-on mentality.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily three Area Coaches and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize Daily resource planning (DRP) and ensure proper allocation of Material Handlers.
• Manage logistics KPIs to steer performance and adjust during daily operations.
• Participate in the TIER structure and ensure issue follow-up.
• Identify bottlenecks and translate into concrete improvement actions.
• Monitor New Product Introduction impact on logistics processes and support improvements.
• Standardize logistics processes through training, documentation, and follow-up.
• Initiate, coach and implement improvement projects delivering tangible value.

Verantwoordelijk

• Je geeft dagelijkse leiding aan drie Area Coaches en stuurt actief op continue verbeteren.
• Je optimaliseert de Daily resource planning (DRP) en zorgt voor de juiste inzet van alle Material handlers.
• Het managen van logistieke KPI’s om performance te sturen en bij te sturen tijdens de dagelijkse operatie.
• Je neemt deel aan de TIER-structuur en zorgt voor opvolging bij issues.
• Je signaleert logistieke knelpunten binnen en buiten de afdeling en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties.
• Je bewaakt de impact van New Product Introduction (NPI) op logistieke processen en ondersteunt bij verbeteringen.
• Je standaardiseert logistieke prcoessen door middel van training, vastlegging en opvolging.
• Je initieert, coacht en implementeert verbeterprojecten die aantoobare waarde toevoegen aan het logisteke proces.

Profiel

• HBO-opleiding in Logistiek, (Technische) Bedrijfskunde, WTB of Automotive.
• Enkele jaren leidinggevende ervaring in een operationele omgeving.
• Ruime kennis van logistiek en productie.
• Ervaring met verbeter- en verandertrajecten binnen een operationele omgeving.
• Bekend met logistieke systemen zoals MRP, SAP, NPC of vergelijkbare.
• Vaardig in het toepassen van Microsoft Office-tools (Word, Excel, Power BI en PowerPoint) voor analyse en rapportage.
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, mondeling en schriftelijk.
• Sterk analytisch vermogen en een hands-on mentaliteit.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om mensen mee te krijgen.
