Job summary

Frencken Europe B.V. seeks a Team Leader Assembly Volume to lead and support a team of approximately 20 assembly colleagues within our production department, ensuring production targets, quality, safety, and delivery performance.

You will be the first point of contact for your team, provide daily guidance, and work closely with colleagues across production, planning, quality, and engineering to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, coordinating, or mentoring colleagues.
• Technical background in mechanical, electromechanical, or mechatronic assembly preferred.
• Strong communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of assembly operators to achieve production goals.
• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and positive working environment.
• Coordinate daily production activities and support workload planning.
• Ensure products are assembled according to quality standards and delivered on time.

• Work in accordance with procedures, work instructions, and 6S principles.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

Job description

As Team Leader Assembly Volume, you will lead and support a team of approximately 20 assembly colleagues within our production department. Together with your team, you will ensure that production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and delivery performance.

You will act as the first point of contact for your team, provide daily guidance, and work closely with colleagues across production, planning, quality, and engineering to ensure smooth operations.

Whether you have previous leadership experience or are ready for your first formal leadership role, we are looking for someone who can inspire others, take ownership, and contribute to a positive team culture.

What Will You Do?

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of assembly operators to achieve production goals.

What Do You Bring?

• MBO Level 4 education or equivalent, preferably in a technical or business-related field.
• A technical background, for example in mechanical, electromechanical, or mechatronic assembly.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or high-tech production environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, coordinating, or mentoring colleagues is a strong advantage.
• Ambition to further develop your leadership skills and help others grow.
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or 6S principles is an advantage.
