Job summary

A leading advisory firm is seeking a Team Leader – Debt Advisor for a project in Amsterdam starting in October 2025. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree, extensive experience in the financial sector, and a proven track record in debt structuring and management. Fluency in English and working knowledge of French is preferred. This role requires 15 years of total experience with significant international exposure.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience in the financial industry.
• 3 years international experience, including in Saharan Africa.
• Last 5 years involving debt raise structuring above EUR 20m.
• 15 years’ experience in financial/consulting/finance in digital/telecom sectors.
• 3 years international experience, including in Saharan Africa.
• Last 5 years involving debt raise above EUR 20m, including information memorandums, financial model and debt structure.
• 5 years’ experience in a management or leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory services for financing from EIB.
• Prepare information memorandums and financial models.

Overview

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Global Gateway private sector digital infrastructure project delivery advisory services. The overall objective of this assignment is to provide digital infrastructure promoters comprehensive advisory services to secure and deploy financing from EIB and co-financers for projects contributing to the EC’s Global Gateway.

Duration: The intended start date is October 2025, and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in a relevant discipline (Economics, Law, Finance or Engineering or other relevant field). Master’s degree would be an advantage;
• Fluency in oral and written English;
• Working knowledge of French will be considered as an asset;
• 15 years’ experience working in the financial industry, working in the consulting/advisory industry or working in finance in the digital/telecom sector;
• 3 years international experience, including in Saharan Africa;
• The last 5 years involving debt raise (above EUR 20m) structuring including at least the preparation of information memorandums, financial model and debt structure;
• 5 years’ experience in a management or leadership position.
