Job summary

A leading eye care company in Schiphol-Rijk is seeking a proactive Team Leader to manage 35 operators in the VAL department. In this role, you will focus on daily coaching, managing key performance indicators, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of leadership experience in logistics or production, is fluent in English and Dutch, and is ready to work in a multicultural environment. Qualifications

Thanks to your leadership, everything within the VAL department will run smoothly. Your team will handle and process specific customer orders. You’ll directly manage 35 operators, alongside another team leader. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to improving processes, making them more efficient and cost-effective. You’ll regularly tackle questions like: 'How can we save costs, and what benefits will that bring to the company?'

You will be operationally responsible for the well‑being and performance of your team. Teams perform best when all business aspects are well organized. This means you’ll focus on daily coaching of employees, work planning, absenteeism management, budgets, facility issues, safety, and other operational tasks.
