At Johnson Controls, we’re looking for a proactive and motivated Team Lead Warehouse Operations (Outbound) to join our warehouse operation in Echt. In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse professionals, ensure smooth outbound operations, and help create a workplace where people can perform at their best every day.

Your Mission

As Team Lead, you are responsible for ensuring that outbound activities run safely, efficiently, and according to plan. You provide daily guidance to your team, coordinate operational priorities, and support continuous improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and customer service.

You lead from the front, working closely with your team while acting as a trusted partner to the Warehouse Supervisor and other operational stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Lead and Support Your Team

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and guidance to a team within the outbound warehouse operation.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing work environment.
• Act as the first point of contact for team members’ questions, challenges, and operational issues.
• Support employee engagement, development, and performance through coaching and feedback.

Coordinate Daily Operations

• Ensure outbound orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Monitor workflows, priorities, and operational performance throughout the shift.
• Allocate resources effectively, including workforce planning and equipment utilisation.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

Drive Safety and Continuous Improvement

• Promote a strong safety culture and proactively address potential risks.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Lead and support small‑scale improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Develop People and Processes

• Train and onboard new team members.
• Ensure employees have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to succeed.
• Provide performance insights and operational feedback to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Support ongoing team development and succession planning efforts.
