Job summary

ISISPACE Group in Delft leads the System AIT (SAIT) activities for satellite integration and test. We are seeking a Team Lead to ensure smooth execution, high quality, and a healthy, communicative team environment.

The role involves strategic alignment, day-to-day leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to advance space systems AIT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or related field.
• Previous space systems AIT experience.
• Minimum 4 years leadership or team management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable team objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in monitoring progress, addressing issues, and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day activities and long-term initiatives.

Job description

The System AIT (SAIT) team at ISISPACE, is responsible for the satellite-level integration and test activities within our satellite

projects. It is a dynamic team where last-minute work is not rare and problems need to be solved on the spot, while

maintaining a high-quality standard. We are looking for a Team Lead who makes sure that everything runs smoothly and

create an inspiring, healthy team environment with open communication lines. If required, Team Leads may also contribute

to discipline-specific work alongside their team members.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

Strategic Alignment & Planning

• Translate department goals and initiatives into clear team objectives and plans.

• Define priorities, expected results, and assign team members to projects based on needs, competencies, and capacity.

• Support resource planning in coordination with internal stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the discipline team.
