Job summary

Lely is seeking a Teamlead Project Manager Product Development to direct the development of robotics and automation solutions and mentor a team of project managers. You will coordinate with Product Management, Product Development, Integrated Supply Chain and Field Support to translate customer needs into feasible, future-proof solutions while safeguarding quality, schedule, and cost.

You will lead complex development projects across software, electronics, mechanical engineering and system

Qualifications

• Completed master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics).
• At least 7 years of experience as a project manager and/or team lead in a technical development environment.
• Proven experience leading complex product development trajectories (NPI) in multidisciplinary settings.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to contribute at a system level.
• Experience with mechatronics and/or embedded software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and developing a team of project managers with a focus on collaboration and growth.
• Leading one or more complex development projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Defining and safeguarding project direction in line with strategy and NPI processes.
• Preparing and monitoring project plans, budgets, risks, and progress.
• Ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders (PM, manufacturing, supply chain, service, procurement).
• Contributing to continuous improvement of project management practices at Lely.
