Job summary

Lely is seeking a Teamlead Project Manager Product Development to direct and mentor a team of project managers as they drive one or more multidisciplinary development projects. You will align software, electronics, mechanical engineering, and system integration efforts with the company's strategy.

You will coach and develop the PM team, ensure strong stakeholder engagement, and safeguard quality, planning and costs through the NPI process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Software or Mechatronics).
• At least 7 years of experience as a project manager and/or team lead in a technical development environment.
• Proven experience leading complex product development trajectories (NPI) in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to contribute at a system level.
• Experience with mechatronics and/or embedded software development is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a coaching, results-oriented working style.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and developing a team of project managers with a focus on collaboration and growth.
• Leading one or more complex development projects in multidisciplinary teams (software, electronics, mechanical engineering, system integration).
• Defining and safeguarding project direction in line with strategy and NPI processes.
• Preparing and monitoring project plans, budgets, risks, and progress.
• Ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders (product management, manufacturing, supply chain, service, procurement).
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices at Lely.
