Thermo Fisher Scientific Eindhoven is seeking a Team Leader Manufacturing to lead a ~15-person System Assembly team in a high-end TEM microscope production environment. You will manage daily shop-floor operations, align resources, and drive continuous improvements in products and processes while ensuring alignment with R&D for NPI introductions.

In Eindhoven, we develop, build and deliver innovative High End TEM microscopes. Together with your team you will be responsible to test and deliver our microscopes complete and on time! Our TEM microscopes take 9-12 months to build, align and test before they can be shipped out of our factory.
Leading a team of ~15 System assembly Engineers in Manufacturing
Daily shop floor management to assign resource, set priorities and report on system status
Leading a multidisciplinary team to work on continuous improvements of products and Manufacturing processes
Ensuring quality of products according to effective technical documents
Responsible for people management of your team (target setting, performance review, development planning)
Interact with R&D to support NPI introductions
To be Successful in this role you will have
HBO Level in engineering or business or an equivalent experience
General understanding of mechanics, technical data and deviations, ability to analyse and interpret these topics
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in optimizing and improving production processes
Experience in shop floor management by lean principles
Pro-active, can-do mentality to get things done.
If you hit a bad run, you'll come up with a plan
Able to keep up the pace of your team and be mindful of their wellbeing
Good communicator on different levels in the organization and between departments.
Fluent in English, Dutch nice to have
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
