Job summary

American President Lines in Bleiswijk seeks a Team Coordinator to manage a 20-person Operations team on a 3-shift basis. You will be visible on the warehouse floor, drive performance, and tackle problems to ensure smooth workflow.

Reporting to the Team Leader Operations, you will coordinate Operators and Flex workers, implement process improvements, and monitor progress. A hands-on, decisive leader with strong English is essential for this role.

Job description

YOUR ROLE

As Team Coordinator, you coordinate the work in the warehouse. You are clearly visible on the work floor; you have a strong personality and a 'hands‑on' mentality. In addition, you identify problems and keep an overview. You are familiar with logistics processes, so you are immediately up and running in your new position. You work in 3 shifts, report to the Teamleader of the process.

As Team Coordinator, you will:

• You coordinate, guide, motivate and enthuse your team of Operators and Flex workers;
• You identify and solve problems in the workplace;
• You also prepare for an efficient execution of the work within your sub‑process;
• You inform and in consultation with your Team Leader, you pick up process improvements;
• You report the progress of the work to your Team Leader.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

You’ll be working at our Bleiswijk location, where we have a warehouse no less than 140,000 m². This location handles logistics for Zalando: a major customer in eCommerce, specialized in shoes, clothing, and fashion accessories. Automation is a key focus in this warehouse. You'll become part of the Operations Team, which includes Operations Managers, Team Lead Operations, Operators and other Team Coordinators. The atmosphere is characterized by passion and professionalism, with plenty of room for fun and connection! You’ll report to the Team Lead Operations and lead a team of 20 employees.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.605 and € 3.346 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
