Bij De Viaan zoeken we een bevlogen docent die past bij ons praktische schoolconcept. Je geeft maatwerk wiskunde en Nederlands aan leerlingen van groep 2 tot 4 en bent betrokken bij activiteiten in en buiten de klas.

De functie is 0,6–1,0 fte, start direct en biedt CAO VO-salarissen, vakantiegeld, een eindejaarsuitkering van 8,33% en reiskostenregeling. Je werkt in een cultuur van ondersteuning, ontwikkeling en teamwork.

Offering customisation. As a teacher at a practical school, you know better than anyone that this is what it is all about. You have an eye for every pupil, every aptitude and every talent. At De Viaan, you will work based on the principles of the Transformative School. This approach revolves around understanding and utilising the dynamics between the pupil's different worlds: the world of home, the street and school. As a teacher, you are an important connecting factor in this, guiding pupils in finding their place in society.

Your duties will include:

• providing tailored mathematics and Dutch lessons for years 2 to 4 inclusive;
• Contribute to activities.

Furthermore, in this position, you can use your creativity to the full to help pupils discover their talents. You can make use of our well-equipped classrooms, including 3 technology rooms, 2 professional kitchens, a theatre room, a studio for visual education and a large school garden. As a teacher at De Viaan, you are also in direct contact with the outside world. For example, with companies where pupils get the chance to learn in real practice.

Job requirements

We are looking for a teacher with a teaching qualification (PABO / secondary education, second degree). In addition, we consider it important that you:

• Have an affinity with the target group;
• preferably have experience in practical education;
• wants to contribute to the development of our education;
• can work well together.

Employment conditions

This concerns a position as an LB teacher (maximum €5,520 for a full-time employment contract) starting immediately with a scope of 0.6 – 1.0 FTE. This is a 1-year appointment with the prospect of a permanent contract subject to proven suitability and sufficient staffing capacity. In addition, we offer:

• salaries and terms of employment in accordance with the CAO VO collective agreement, including holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 8.33%, an attractive commuting allowance (kilometres exceeding 25 km one way are now also reimbursed after the first year) and car exchange schemes;
• Personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment;
