Job summary

ESA is offering an internship in the Systems Department - Concurrent Engineering and Future Missions Section at ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on concurrent design, MBSE and digital engineering initiatives.

You will engage in systems engineering activities, model-based design, and the integration of AI and AR/VR tools to support future missions. Applicants must be university students, with English proficiency and enrollment for the internship

Qualifications

• University student in final or penultimate year; enrolled for entire internship.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering and MBSE concepts.
• Experience with engineering tools (MATLAB/Simulink, CAD/Modeling tools).
• Proficient in English; knowledge of another ESA language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support concurrent design activities (CDF studies) and systems engineering tasks.
• Contribute to digital engineering efforts (MBSE, AI, VR/AR) and modelling activities.
• Assist in projects across multiple disciplines within the Systems Department.
