System Owner Engineer (Mechanical)

Role Overview

We are looking for a System Owner Engineer (Mechanical) to own, maintain, and continuously improve critical mechanical utility systems while ensuring GMP compliance. This is a fully onsite role with participation in an on‑call duty rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage mechanical utility systems for reliability and compliance.
• Maintain Chillers (mandatory), HVAC, and compressed air systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
• Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
• Experience in GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or food manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with Chillers; HVAC knowledge required; compressed air is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation (typically one week per month).
