Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Utrecht is seeking an System Engineer to convert designs into real communications systems for Naval and Defense customers. You will work within our European Center of Competence in Utrecht, collaborating with Sales and Project Management to deliver complex systems and develop your career.

The role involves traveling occasionally to customers and project locations, with responsibilities across radios, antennas, networks, encryption and related subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a project engineering environment within an international setting.
• Structured and proactive professional.
• Good communication skills in English and Dutch (verbal and written).
• Experience configuring networks and IP networking is advantageous.
• Proficient with MS Project, Visio, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Work within the complete system engineering life cycle: conception, requirements, design, realization, integration, verification, acceptance and support.
• Contribute to bid teams and submit proposals for delivery of mission-critical capability.
• Follow the Rohde & Schwarz systems engineering framework based on ISO/ PMI standards.
• Participate in tender responses, design reviews, integration, test and site commissioning.
• Deliver systems engineering services to meet milestones, budgets and quality.
