Covalent is a consulting firm specializing in technical management and industrial automation for major infrastructure projects. We seek a System Architect to design and realize integral control systems in infrastructural or industrial contexts, collaborating with mechanical and civil engineers.

You will lead technically, bridge differing opinions, and supervise contractors while ensuring requirements are met. The role offers hybrid work from home, client sites, or our Amersfoort office.

Qualifications

• Completed college or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Information Science, or similar.
• Knowledge of systems engineering is a plus.
• Autonomous and positive-critical attitude; you stand for your views and opinions.
• Willingness to learn and continually develop yourself.

Responsibilities

• Design and realization of the integral control system within infrastructural or industrial projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants to realize a functional and safe system.
• Bridge differences of opinion and align people and systems within the project.
• Supervise contractor work and validate that all requirements are met.
• Identify risks and take action to mitigate them.
• Work on large and complex projects and contribute where your expertise fits.
