Job summary

Rheinmetall zoekt een System Architect – Vehicle Electrical Systems in Nederland (Gelderland). Je definieert en ontwikkelt de elektrische systeemarchitectuur voor geavanceerde voertuigen, met een focus op hybride platforms en massaproductie.

Je vertaalt voertuigvereisten naar elektrische architectuur, werkt nauw samen met systeem- en software-ingenieurs, leveranciers en projectmanagement en bewaakt interfaces, veiligheid en integratie door het hele voertuigontwerp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Verschillende jaren ervaring in voertuig-elektrische/elektronische systemen en systeemengineering.
• Sterke kennis van voertuig-elektrische architecturen en netwerken (CAN, Ethernet).

Responsibilities

• Definieer de voertuig-elektrische systeemarchitectuur inclusief energiegeneration, opslag en distributie.
• Zet vereisten om in architectuur en definieer interfaces en functionele verdeling.
• Coördineer integratie met mechanische, software- en terminalsystemen en ondersteun ontwerpbeslissingen.
• Voer trade-off studies uit voor prestaties, betrouwbaarheid en kosten.
