Job summary

Rheinmetall in Nederland zoekt een Chief Engineer die de technische integriteit van het volledige voertuig waarborgt en de architectuur over mechanische, elektrische en software-domeinen heen stuurt.

Je leidt cruciale technische beslissingen, coördineert multidisciplinaire teams en zorgt voor verificatie, validatie en industriële gereedheid richting productie.

Qualifications

• Universitaire graad in Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics of Systems Engineering.
• Ruime ervaring in voertuig engineering en productontwikkeling.
• Diep begrip van mechanische voertuigarchitectuur en design.
• Sterk begrip van E/E-systemen en netwerken.
• Ervaring met productie en industrialisatie van voertuigen.
• Uitstekende communicatie en stakeholder-management.
• Goede beheersing van Engels en Nederlands; Duits is een plus.

Responsibilities

• Bepaal en bewaak de technische definities van het volledige voertuig, van concept tot productlevenscyclus.
• Leid architectuurkeuzes en los cross-discipline conflicts op tussen mechanisch, elektrisch en software.
• Zorg voor verificatie en validatie op voertuigniveau en zorg voor veilige interfaces.
• Drijf technische maturiteit richting productie en industriële Readiness.
• Lever technische leiding aan engineering-teams en coordineer disciplines.
