Job summary

New Black is building the EVA Contextual Commerce platform and seeks a Swift Developer to lead the mobile frontend within EVA. You will own Swift-based features, drive architectural decisions, and push for innovations in a holacratic environment.

The role emphasizes best practices, performance, and maintainability across the Swift codebase, with a focus on delivering a contextual retail experience for global brands.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience as a developer, with at least 2 years in Swift.
• Experience with unit testing and software quality assurance.
• Strong in technical discussions and able to challenge ideas.
• Up-to-date with the latest Apple technologies and Swift advancements.
• Proactive, self-driven, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adoption of best practices in Swift development, including unit testing and clean coding principles.
• Discuss and implement new features that enhance EVA’s capabilities while considering scalability and performance.
• Evaluate and integrate new features and framework best practices to keep our applications at the forefront of technology.
• Advocate for high-quality code, performance optimization, and maintainability.
