Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join their Amsterdam team. In this hybrid role, you will build and maintain iOS features for card management and payment flows, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy code and championing accessibility.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in iOS development, expertise in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, along with a deep understanding of VIP / Clean Architecture. Experience in financial services and CI/CD tools is preferred.

Overview

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join a high-impact financial services team working on card management, payment initiation, and secure transaction experiences.

You will work natively in Swift, modernise legacy Objective-C code, adopt VIP clean architecture, and champion accessibility across the mobile banking ecosystem.

This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam (2 days per week onsite), ideal for engineers who thrive in Agile DevOps environments and want to shape customer-facing financial products used at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native iOS features for card and payment flows
• Refactor legacy Objective-C code to modern Swift
• Apply VIP / Clean Architecture to improve testability and separation of concerns
• Implement accessibility (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, EAA compliance)
• Work in Agile / SCRUM with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or GitLab)
• Collaborate closely with product, backend, and design teams in a DevOps culture

Qualifications

• 8–10 years iOS development experience
• Strong Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• Deep understanding of VIP / Clean Architecture (or VIPER with adaptability)
• Accessibility implementation experience (automated testing a plus)
• Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech (card/payment domain strongly preferred)
