Nexio Projects in Rotterdam is seeking two Sustainability Interns to support consultants in delivering sustainability finance and reporting work for clients. You will help translate climate risks and decarbonisation choices into financial terms, build Excel-based models, and assist with CSRD/ESRS and IFRS S2 reporting.

This paid internship targets final-year or recent Master students in finance or related quantitative fields.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, in final stage or completed.
• At least six months of relevant internship or research experience.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills with large datasets.
• Experience with Python, R or Power BI is a meaningful plus.
• Fluency in English; French/Dutch a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support sustainability finance and CSRD/ESRS reporting tasks for clients.
• Build Excel-based financial models and decarbonisation business cases.
• Quantify climate-related risks in financial terms and model carbon costs.
• Prepare reports, data visualisations, and client-ready deliverables.
• Assist with client-facing calls and project management tasks.
• Contribute to knowledge databases and methodological insights.
