Job summary

Nutreco is seeking a supply/demand planning professional to monitor forecast accuracy and bias, and drive improvements in the forecasting process. You will prepare demand forecasts up to 18 months in collaboration with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain, lead monthly demand meetings, flag stock risks, and participate in projects to improve forecast reliability.

Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning or related roles.
• Analytical tools: Excel and Power BI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Portuguese; basic English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare demand forecast for 18 months in collaboration with Sales, Operations and Supply Chain.
• Contribute to forecasting process improvements and lead monthly demand meetings.
• Inform organization when stock, deliveries or service risk occur.
• Propose improvements to forecasting processes and monitor KPIs.

What you will do

You will be responsible for monitoring the forecast accuracy & bias and constantly looking for solutions and tools to improve the accuracy of the plan.

• Preparing an as accurate as possible demand forecast for all products with a horizon of 18 months in close cooperation with the stakeholders that




• contribute to this process (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain)




• Timely receive the right input from sales (and marketing) about seasonal effects, promotions, market trends, distribution changes, tenders, product




• introductions and product terminations




• Leading and further shaping the monthly demand meeting, in which the input from sales & marketing is discussed beforehand




• Timely informing of the organization when stock levels, outbound deliveries and/or customer service are at risk




• Proposing improvements to the forecasting process and putting it into practice




• The preparation and monitoring of the KPIs forecast accuracy and bias




• Participating in various projects with the aim of improving the forecast reliability and/or the forecasting process

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field




• At least 1 year of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning or Supply Chain roles.




• Analytical tools: excel and power bi




• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.




• Fluent Portuguese




• Basic English and Spanish
