As a Supply Chain Specialist – Product Traceability, you will be part of the Global Serialization team, supporting the day-to-day operation and continuous evolution of Amgen’s Serialization and Track & Trace capabilities. You will work across functions, regions and external partners to resolve operational issues, strengthen compliance, improve processes and enable reliable product supply. You will have the opportunity to work in a highly interconnected environment, combining operational execution with problem solving and continuous improvement. You will help ensure that Serialization remains robust, responsive and ready to support Amgen’s future growth and evolving regulatory landscape.

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world.

In this vital role, you will cover
  • 1. Operational Support & Responsiveness Provide day-to-day Serialization support, monitor systems and processes, and coordinate timely resolution of incidents and exceptions to protect reliable product supply.
  • 2. Compliance & Inspection Readiness Maintain effective controls, documentation, evidence and processes to support regulatory compliance, audits and inspections across the Serialization network.
  • 3. End-to-End Coordination & Standardization Connect Supply Chain, Quality, IT, manufacturing sites, logistics partners and service providers, driving consistent incident management, escalation, handovers, processes and KPIs across the global organization.
  • 4. Continuous Improvement & Future Readiness Use operational insights and data to identify recurring issues, simplify and automate processes, improve efficiency and strengthen the scalability and resilience of the Global Serialization operating model.
Win What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. We are looking for a collaborative and proactive Serialization professional who can connect people, understand complex processes and turn operational challenges into practical solutions.

We are looking for someone who has
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering or a similar environment, preferably within a GMP/GDP-regulated industry.
  • An understanding of Serialization, Track & Trace and pharmaceutical supply-chain processes, or a strong interest and ability to develop expertise in these areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and drive resolution.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, sites and external partners.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to work across a complex global organization.
  • An energetic, detail-oriented and highly motivated mindset, with a “can-do” attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a changing environment.
  • Take ownership of incidents and exceptions, investigate the facts, identify root causes and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Work carefully with data, documentation and controlled processes in a regulated environment.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with colleagues across functions, regions and external partners.
  • Stay organized while managing competing priorities, escalations and handovers.
  • Look for practical ways to standardize, simplify and improve processes.
  • Show a patient-focused, “can-do” attitude and understand that reliable traceability supports safe and dependable medicine supply.

We expect this person to become a reliable member of the team: learning our processes and systems, responding promptly to operational issues, documenting work accurately and collaborating well with colleagues and partners.

Over time, we’d like them to build deeper subject-matter expertise, spot recurring issues and contribute ideas that make our global operating model more consistent and resilient.

Thrive What you can expect of us

As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we are equally committed to supporting the growth, well-being and success of our colleagues. At Amgen, you can expect:

  • Vast opportunities to learn, develop and grow across our global organization.

  • A competitive Total Rewards package, including salary, bonus structure, fixed 13th month, holiday allowance and collective health insurance.
  • A strong focus on vitality and well-being, with an on-site gym, vitality programs and a restaurant offering healthy food.
