Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Senior Technical Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and optimizing automated production equipment across the line, with emphasis on set-ups, change-overs, and advanced troubleshooting.

You will act as SME, lead root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods, while coaching colleagues to raise overall line performance. Shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments.
• Proven SME experience and/or trainer.
• Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma).
• High level of ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment
• Perform set-ups and change-overs
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis (e.g., RCA, 5WHY)
• Identify and elevate deviations where required in collaboration with quality and maintenance and support triage activities
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first point of contact for technical escalations
• Analyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systems
• Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
• Support, coach and train team members, strengthening overall line capability
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities
