Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist based in Istanbul, who will report directly to the Supply Chain Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand the portfolio, ensuring compliance with Ferrero's registration and qualification standards
  • Lead tenders for external warehouses, logistics, pallets, and customs broker consultant activities
  • Oversee Vendor Selection, Vendor Evaluation, and Vendor Financial Assessment processes
  • Assist functional departments in finalizing purchasing contracts with suppliers for assigned goods/services, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Generate Purchase Orders in SAP and update logistics prices in Letra
  • Ensure new contracts comply with legal and central governance requirements
  • Develop dashboards to monitor costs transparently and track them periodically against budget figures
  • Support Supply Chain Departments with Budget and Risk & Opportunities tasks
  • Periodically review market data for Supply Chain suppliers' services
  • No travel restrictions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, or Logistics
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience in contract management, negotiation, logistics procurement, and minimum insurance requirement processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish (Italian is a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • SAP knowledge is essential (SAP ARIBA knowledge is an advantage)
