Job summary

PAC, Rotterdam, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the end-to-end supply chain, from order fulfilment to delivery, coordinating logistics, planning and procurement to improve business performance.

You will manage a team, drive KPI reporting, ensure inventory optimization, and collaborate with finance, sales and operations to transform processes while maintaining compliance and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain leadership/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SCM including production planning, inventory, warehousing and logistics.
• Analytical, planning and organizational skills with budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain Team to ensure on-time delivery and accurate transactions.
• Organise and direct storeroom and central supply personnel.
• Coordinate with assembly, planning, back office and other departments.
• Analyse market and delivery conditions to forecast material availability.
• Provide management reporting and KPI development for site SCM.
• Ensure inventory optimization and compliance with policies.

The Supply Chain Manager is the key stakeholder in the supply chain. The Supply Chain Manager provide insights into supply chain transformation covering Logistics, Back Office, Planning and Procurement and often integrating with other competencies (Finance, Sales, etc.) to deliver end to end solutions to clients. The Supply Chain Manager focuses on effectively running the supply chain in order to improve the business performance. The Supply Chain manager is responsible for the whole process from order fulfilment to delivery and transaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the activities of the Supply Chain Team to deliver high levels of service like complete order, on-time delivery, free of damage, and accurate transaction.
• Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of storeroom and central supply personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment.
• Manage overall departmental capacity and fluency between departments (assembly, supply chain, planning, back office, etc.).
• Manage the back-office department in order-processing, sales support, quotations
• Analyses market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
• Responsible for the daily operation of the Supply Chain department
• Ensure inventories are operating at optimized level at any time
• Process owner of defined areas in operational Supply Chain
• Evaluate and pro-actively recommend process changes and/or resources needed.
• Providing management reporting on the performance of the Site Supply Chain department, including the development of effective KPI’s
• Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and standard business practices applicable to the site supply chain function, including internal controls
• Personnel responsibility for all employees in Supply Chain
• Ensures a positive work environment and awareness by all staff of company goals and objectives.
• Ensures awareness of and compliance to all applicable employment, quality and safety policies.
• Provides employment development and coaching to direct reports

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor/University degree preferably supported by a business management education.
• 5+ years of Supply Chain experience; practical leadership/management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management (Production planning, Inventory, warehousing, Export Compliance, logistics and packaging); Knowledge of financials and working capital requirements.
• Business management in order to develop, translate and manage strategy to formulate and monitor budgets, expenses and manage costs.
• Analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to consolidate large volume of information into cohesive / integrated plans.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Dutch and English language (verbally & written)
• Able to work and lead effectively during change
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products, solid presentation skills including the ability to explain complex technologies and product feature
• Maintain extensive product, production processes and commodity knowledge
• Good knowledge of materials management, ERP, MRP, lean, Six Sigma or related discipline
