Introduction

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers. You will functionally lead a team that will enable CSCM to be successful in this challenging environment and deliver upon the CSCM roadmap.

Job Mission

As Supply Chain Regional Availability Manager (RAM) you will be responsible for managing performance and cost of one/multiple regions/customer and balancing operational responsibilities with continuous improvement project driving efficiency in the supply chain. Ensure customers can count on reliable supply chain support for maintaining machine uptime. For this you will ensure timely availability of high-tech parts and tools, to match the demand of our service business activities at the customer sites together with a functional team of experts in supply chain.

  • Ensure supply chain performance for service business activities at optimal cost levels of one of our business lines for a specific region of the world
  • Develop regional Service business Supply Chain roadmap together with stakeholders.
  • Manage and/or contribute to the Supply Chain project team to ensure that the (thousands of) high-tech parts and tools are available on-time, on-spec and at the right quality. The projects will be related to operational excellence in combination with strong cost control
  • Translate voice of the customer to supply chain performance & cost improvements
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement to optimize logistical performance & costs
  • Support in setting up and embedding processes related to driving and improving the supply processes
  • Representation of Customer Supply Chain Management Department in Installed Base & Services workstreams as well as New Product Introduction workstreams.
  • Be the linking pin on supply chain topics between departments across ASML
  • Be the 3rd line support for escalations: resolve complex escalations in alignment with the Business Line, Customer Service and other supply chain departments
  • Manage site readiness / ramp readiness for new EUV sites

Education

Relevant master’s degree is preferred (e.g., Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)

Experience

  • 8+ years relevant experience in a large international company (high tech industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Procurement background
  • Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry
  • A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, decision making skills, change management skills, people management skills and project management skills
  • Experience with project management including change management
  • Experience with Demand Management is a pre
  • Analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload
  • Experience with Lean, Green/Black Belt (nice to have)
