Job summary

Bleckmann, a leader in supply chain for fashion brands, is seeking a Supervisor to manage Team Leaders and warehouse staff. You’ll drive productivity, coach teams, and implement improvements based on customer satisfaction data.

Fluent in Dutch and English, you’ll navigate logistics processes with 5S/Lean thinking. You’ll work in a dynamic, international environment with opportunities to influence service levels and efficiency while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing large groups in a logistics environment.
• Good knowledge of logistics processes and WMi is preferred.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Flexible, stress-resistant and able to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team on day shifts.

Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Supervisor you will manage the Team Leader(s) and Warehouse employees which you are responsible for.

It is your job to achieve all department objectives. You do this, among other things, by focusing on productivity, customer satisfaction, analyzing department results and making improvement proposals based on customer satisfaction research.

• Improve productivity and efficiency;
• Make improvement proposals to improve services and increase customer satisfaction;
• Minimizing errors and shortening lead times;
• Conducting consultations within and outside the department;
• Point of contact for both the internal organization and suppliers related to the department;
• Leading, coaching, training and motivating the Teamleaders;
• Coach and motivate the team and train new employees;
• Working in a continuous process improvement environment within our network organization;
• Reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Profile:

• MBO+/ HBO working and thinking level;
• Demonstrable experience in managing large groups;
• Good knowledge of logistics processes;
• Good knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably WMi);
• Good communication skills and positive attitude;
• Strong leadership skills and able to motivate a team;
• Analytical skills;
• Excellent knowledge and command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma;
• Flexible and stress-resistant and able to work overtime in (and if necessary out of) season;
• As a supervisor, you work together with your team in day shifts, ensuring structure, motivation, and results on the work floor
