Job summary

Elements is seeking a React Native Developer to join our Amsterdam team. You'll work on brand-new mobile apps and collaborate across product and design to shape architecture and delivery, with a focus on React Native and native iOS when needed.

You have 4-5 years in React Native, 6+ years in general development, and comfort with CI/CD, testing, and accessibility. We offer flexible hours, remote options, personal development budget, and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of professional React Native experience.
• At least 6 years of general development experience (TypeScript/JavaScript, React and/or native mobile).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to accessibility and testing (VoiceOver, XCTest, Jest).
• Hands-on experience bringing mobile apps to production with CI/CD.
• Experience with native modules and APIs in React Native.

While your primary focus is React Native, experience with native iOS will give you an edge, since we deliver projects across both native and cross‑platform.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Together with your team, you build a variety of brand new mobile applications. You collaborate with colleagues to make estimates and define architecture, as well as shape the project structure. You embrace our way of working, while also suggesting improvements to make it even better. You think with the client and bring the commercial perspective to the development process. You have genuine curiosity for your field, staying up to speed with the latest innovations and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

WHAT YOU BRING

Your tech skills and experience:

• 4-5 years of professional experience with React Native, including hands‑on project work
• At least 6 years of general development experience (e.g. TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), frontend React, React Native, and/or native mobile with Kotlin/Swift)
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Commitment to building apps with strong accessibility support (VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, etc.)
• Experienced in Unit and E2E testing (we use XCTest, Jest, Maestro)
• Hands‑on experience bringing mobile to production with CI/CD
• Experience working with native modules and APIs and integrating them into React Native projects
• Ability to define app architecture design
