Job summary

Accenture is seeking a motivated professional to join our Global M&A practice in Amsterdam. You will work on IT due diligence, merger integrations, and carve-outs to help clients transform complex transactions across industries and geographies.

The role requires an advanced graduate degree and 0–3 years of M&A experience; English fluency is essential, Dutch is a plus, and travel across Europe is expected. You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver tech-enabled value.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science or comparable fields.
• Above average grades.
• 0-3 years of experience in M&A consulting, strategy consulting, private equity or corporate internal M&A.
• Strong interest in M&A, strategy consulting, technology and AI.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language adds an advantage.
• Willing to travel in Europe.

Job description

Our Global M&A practice combines business and technology expertise, providing services along the entire M&A transaction lifecycle. As our team member you will have an opportunity to serve clients across industries and geographies.

The work

You will take part in projects in pre-deal and post-deal phases, working with our teams on:

• IT and technology due diligence projects, focusing on enterprise IT landscapes, software platforms, digital capabilities, and AI readiness

• Merger integrations to help our clients plan and successfully execute integration phases across all functions (IT, operations, finance, HR, supply chain, procurement etc.)

• Carve-outs and divestures where you will take part in the planning, follow-up and execution of separation activities.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Advanced graduate degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science or comparable fields (e.g. MSc, PhD, MBA)

• Above average grades

• 0-3 years of experience in M&A consulting, strategy consulting, private equity or corporate internal M&A

• Strong interest in M&A, strategy consulting, technology and AI

• Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch in addition is an advantage

• Willing to travel in Europe
