Job summary

Eneco Energy Trade is seeking a Business Manager Trade in Rotterdam to shape governance, drive decisions and execute strategic initiatives. You’ll partner with the Trade Management Team and report to the Director Trade Ops & IT, turning discussions into measurable progress.

You’ll prepare leadership meetings, coordinate pre-reads and minutes, and steer cross-functional programs while balancing strategic priorities with hands-on delivery in a dynamic trading environment.

Qualifications

• University degree and academic working level; 5+ years in business management, strategy or governance.
• Independent, structured and proactive; takes ownership without direction.
• Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution on senior topics.
• Proven ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments and influence without authority.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; excels at making complex matters actionable.
• Clear, trustworthy communication with senior stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Enable effective decision-making by governing Trade Management Team forums.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear owners and outcomes.
• Prepare, coordinate and document leadership meetings, agendas, papers and minutes.
• Drive Trade-wide initiatives, align stakeholders, plan governance and deliverables.
• Continuously improve trade governance, reporting and ways of working.
