Job summary

Samyang Europe is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Demand Planner to optimize customer inventory levels and product availability in the market. You will manage and improve demand forecasting activities, and collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure effective inventory management at the customer level.

The ideal candidate will improve forecast accuracy, identify supply and demand issues, and devise strategies to minimize stock shortages, working from our Amstelveen office.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Sales Demand Planner.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting software and databases.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Capable of conducting insightful research.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret demand patterns and their implications.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels with customers.
• Use statistical and analytical tools for forecasting.
• Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process.
• Present forecast and inventory measurements to the manager and other teams.
• Monitor and report on changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports for management.
• Schedule forecast review meetings with management on regular basis.
• Ensure regular and on time collection of reports needed for demand planning from customers.
