Job summary

UMCG Research BV, a 100% subsidiary of the University Medical Center Groningen, seeks a Project Manager to guide national and international research projects, coordinate grant applications, and shape strategic decisions that turn collaborations into tangible results.

In this role you will lead complex projects across a multidisciplinary network, monitor progress, budgets, and risks, and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (University) degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in complex research, funding, or international collaboration environments is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape, structure, and steer complex research projects across all phases.
• Lead grant applications and funding trajectories.
• Coordinate consortium meetings and manage risks, budgets, and progress.
