Job summary

Vattenfall in Amsterdam, Netherlands, seeks a Project Manager for the Business Area Wind to drive strategic initiatives across offshore wind, solar, and batteries. You will work with internal sponsors and senior management to identify opportunities and lead complex projects in a fast-changing energy sector.

You will collaborate with a diverse team and external partners to deliver impactful solutions that advance Vattenfall's decarbonisation goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in business, economics, engineering or related field with at least four years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation.
• Experience in energy or utility sector with understanding of cross-functional decision making; offshore wind development, operations or strategy is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to structure complex problems, conduct robust analysis and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience scoping and leading cross-functional strategy, transformation or organisational improvement projects from problem definition to implementation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate complex topics via concise presentations and strategic narratives.
• Ownership mindset; able to work independently and deliver tangible results.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the challenges our business is facing and work with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities for our BU Offshore.
• Contribute to setting the overall strategic direction of BU Offshore.
• Scope, align, and lead strategic initiatives and improvement projects aligned with our strategy and operating model.
• Actively collaborate with project sponsors, BU Offshore line organisation and other stakeholders, building a trusted advisor relationship.
