Strohm in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Buyer to lead procurement for technically complex international projects. You will own sourcing strategies, select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance across the full lifecycle, partnering with Engineering, Sales, Tendering and Project Management to meet milestones and budgets.

You should bring a bachelor’s degree in a related field, NEVI 2 or equivalent, and 5–10 years in senior buying roles within EPC or offshore

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• NEVI 2 or equivalent procurement qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Senior Project Buyer, Contract Manager or Senior Buyer in a complex technical environment.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management in EPC/offshore/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of subsea, offshore, chemical processing, metalworking, or similar industry preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement of technical materials, services, and subcontracted work for complex international projects.
• Develop sourcing strategies, select suppliers, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage contracts.
• Partner with Category Management, Sales, Tendering, Engineering and Project Management to align procurement activities with customer requirements and milestones.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, quality, and commercial commitments.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, and identify new opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes and maximize business impact.
