Job summary

Aqtis Medical B.V. is seeking a detail-oriented Planning & Inventory Manager for our Almere injectable products site.

You will optimize inventory levels to balance customer demand and cost, drive production planning, and ensure efficient resource use to maximize operational efficiency. You will forecast needs, analyze demand data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline stock management and production scheduling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field required.
10+ years in production planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain.
Minimum 2 years leading direct reports and driving operational efficiency.
Proven experience optimizing planning processes and reducing costs.
Strong Lean manufacturing knowledge and ability to manage complex schedules.
Experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite and data analytics for decision making.

Responsibilities

Oversee production planning and inventory management to meet demand while minimizing stockouts.
Collaborate with materials planners to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Develop and adjust production plans using historical data and forecasts.
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to align replenishment with schedules.
Plan and schedule purchase orders to maintain material availability within budget.
Analyze inventory and production metrics and report insights to management.
Identify and implement continuous improvements to planning processes.
Lead cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.
Manage subcontractors for outsourced operations ensuring timelines and quality.
