Job summary

Rabobank is seeking an Analyst in Group Portfolio Management to work on Strategic Portfolio Vision and Strategic Asset Allocation. You will translate portfolio targets into tangible actions and support deep-dives on emerging opportunities. You will collaborate with experts across the bank to form a fact-based direction.

You will participate in Rabobank’s Early Career Program, focusing on personal development, leadership and track-based technical content across sustainability and strategic topics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with strong academic results in finance, economics, econometrics, business, strategy or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in banking, strategy, consulting, portfolio management, finance or risk.
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity to understand the story behind the numbers.
• Ability to structure ambiguous questions and connect multiple perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio developments across businesses, sectors, regions and products.
• Combine financial, risk, capital, funding, customer and sustainability perspectives for a holistic view.
• Translate analyses into clear insights and concise recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Support development of long-term portfolio ambitions and strategic guidance.
• Contribute to strategic deep-dives exploring opportunities and addressing underperformance.
