Doghouse Recruitment supports a world-renowned brand in Amstelveen to build a new Information Security team. We seek an Information Security Specialist who combines deep technical credibility with orchestration skills to connect global strategy with local execution across IT and production environments.

You will lead technical vendor governance, guide security controls, and drive vulnerability management while collaborating across Europe to implement a unified security framework.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on technical security experience.
• Experience managing or overseeing external service providers.
• Ability to translate technical risks into business impact.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS, or NIS2 requirements.
• Excellent communication with cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Technical Vendor Governance: act as primary technical contact for third-party security vendors and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Hands-on Technical Oversight: guide implementation and maintenance of security controls across IT and production environments.
• Vulnerability & Incidents: run security assessments, coordinate remediation, and lead incident response.
• Secure Architecture: review IT project designs for security by design.
