Job summary

bol.com seeks a Controller of Strategic Finance to translate complex data into actionable insights that guide investments and operations for millions of customers and thousands of partners. You will bridge detailed analysis with board-level decision-making and craft compelling narratives around long-term plans.

You’ll develop robust strategic plans, model scenarios, and present executive-ready findings, collaborating across the business while managing urgent ad hoc requests and stakeholder input.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of finance experience with FP&A or consulting background.
• Master’s degree and advanced financial knowledge.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and communication of long-term strategic plans with leadership.
• Present financial analyses to senior management and board members.
• Build sophisticated financial models and translate plans into financial constructs.
• Translate complex insights into executive-ready presentations and three-bullet summaries.
• Manage diverse stakeholders to ensure timely input for planning processes.
• Collaborate across functions to incorporate relevant perspectives.
• Handle ad hoc requests without losing sight of ongoing priorities.
• Challenge the status quo and propose innovative financial strategies.
