Job summary

Highberg is seeking a Cloud Architect to bridge business operations and IT infrastructure, delivering independent, bias-free advisory to executives and CIOs. You’ll apply expertise in virtualization and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and translate visions into practical IT architectures.

You will collaborate with ICT managers, project managers, and IT purchasers on prestigious initiatives with societal impact, while supporting growth and personal development within the team.

Qualifications

• Junior: HBO (Bachelor’s) or WO (Master’s) degree in IT.
• Junior: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch.
• Medior: Knowledge of cloud solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and ICT infrastructure (digital workplace, network, data center).
• Senior: Experience as cloud architect/advisor, technical architect, or solution architect on ICT projects.
• Senior: Experience acquiring advisory assignments independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, unbiased advisory on cloud architectures and IT strategies.
• Translate business needs into cloud service recommendations (e.g., digital workplace with Office 365).
• Collaborate with ICT managers, program/project managers, IT purchasers, and subject matter experts.
