Job summary

PwC Netherlands is seeking an ambitious CMAA Associate to join the Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory team in Amsterdam. You will work on complex accounting and financial reporting challenges arising from M&A, IPOs, and restructurings, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You’ll build IFRS, US GAAP and Dutch GAAP knowledge, while applying AI tools and PwC applications to client projects. This role offers strong growth, coaching, and professional qualification support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Econometrics, Data Science or related quantitative field.
• Interest in complex accounting and regulatory topics and the why behind the numbers.
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies applied to accounting and advisory services.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client work – Prepare reports, presentations and analyses as part of project teams.
• Analyse complex transactions – assess impact of standards on capital markets and M&A deals.
• Present findings – share analyses with teams and shape client solutions.
• Build technical expertise – develop IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP knowledge.
• Master modern tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Alteryx; leverage AI tools.
• Grow into new roles – coaching, client interactions, lead workstreams.
