Job summary

Reef Renewal Foundation Bonaire (RRFB) is seeking a Communications & Outreach Officer to share our coral restoration story and strengthen our brand across platforms. You will craft compelling narratives, manage digital channels, and support partnerships and grant communications.

Working closely with the Executive Director, you will translate scientific work into accessible content, develop reports and materials, and help plan outreach events that engage our community in Bonaire and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, environmental communication, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field.
• Experience managing digital channels, including websites, social media, and newsletters.

Responsibilities

• Implement RRFB’s communication strategy under the direction of the Executive Director.
• Strengthen RRFB’s brand, public image, and messaging across external channels.
• Coordinate media relations, press releases, interviews, and public awareness campaigns.
