Job summary

C&A is seeking an authentic and curious Store Manager for the Ridderkerk branch. The role involves leading the store, driving profitability, and delivering an unforgettable shopping experience for customers while upholding high service standards.

You will oversee staff training, customer engagement on the shop floor, and strict adherence to inventory and visual merchandising guidelines. A strong background in retail leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail store or team in fashion/textiles.
• Strong customer service focus with ability to train staff.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage commercial insight to understand strengths and weaknesses of the store, positioning it optimally in the market.
• Manage staff and provide ongoing training in close collaboration with the leadership team (Floor Manager, Visual Merchandiser, etc.).
• Be present on the sales floor daily, setting a positive example in customer contact and following up on customer suggestions.
• Oversee regular inventory checks and ensure compliance with visual merchandising guidelines.
