Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and Company policies; ensures store is properly staffed.
• Provides training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance expectations; coordinates safety and policy meetings.
• Manages opening and closing of the store; ensures staffing at required times.
• Analyzes operating statements to identify trends and opportunities; monitors shrink and errors.
• Reviews ordering plans and inventory management; monitors BSR/cycle counts weekly.
• Ensures merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage are up to standard.
• Maintains accurate inventory, controls damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Ensures cash control and cashier accountability; protects financial integrity.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and maintains a safe store environment.
• Ensures tools and equipment are available for required tasks; adheres to SOPs.
