Job summary

Timbercity is seeking a stock controller to manage stock levels and variance reporting in a retail/wholesale environment. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock, loss control, and order preparation within a multi-channel supply chain.

Applicants should have Grade 12 and at least 3 years stock control experience, or relevant certificates (NQF 5). If no certificate, suitable candidates with at least three of the listed skills programmes will be considered.

Qualifications

• Grade 12.
• 3 years stock control experience, alternatively
• Certificate in Retailing (NQF 5), or
• Certificate in Retail Operations Management (NQF 5)
• if no certificate then at least 3 of the following skills programmes
• Explain the factors that impact on the bottom line of a W&R unit
• Supervise implementation of loss control measures
• Replenish stock in a retail business
• Manage stock holding procedure in a wholesale and retail outlet
• Move, pack and maintain stock
• Count stock for a stock-take
• Dispatch stock from a distribution centre

• Providing the Operator with stock variance data for the 8 weeks cycle every month
