Job summary

Russells Technical Products is seeking a Stock Assembler to read and follow work instructions, assemble stock assemblies and environmental chamber components, and perform basic wiring and brazing or soldering tasks. The role uses hand and power tools and requires reading blueprints or schematics.

The position is a 1st shift, with a pay rate of $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior experience with brazing or soldering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble stock assemblies and/or chambers using hand and power tools.
• Read and use standard measuring devices, including brazing and soldering as needed.
• Perform basic wiring connections and brazing/soldering of copper/brass or similar materials.

• Read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions.
• Properly assemble Stock Assemblies and/or chambers, which may include:
• Any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools.
• Use RTV silicones and similar adhesive/sealants
• Use cleaning chemicals such as dish soap and aerosol degreasers
• Perform basic wiring connections and techniques.
• Braze/solder copper, brass or other similar materials

The Stock Assembler performs work-station assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into a completed environmental test chamber by performing the following duties:

• Read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions.
• Properly assemble Stock Assemblies and/or chambers, which may include:
• Any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools.
• Read/use standard measuring devices.
• Use RTV silicones and similar adhesive/sealants
• Use cleaning chemicals such as dish soap and aerosol degreasers
• Perform basic wiring connections and techniques.
• Braze/solder copper, brass or other similar materials
